Amazing! Will Ms. Callaghan’s writing get any better? This book is superb. Quite off the beaten path from her other books though more awesome as ever! Though we don’t know all the specifics, the basics are about a woman who takes on running a home for wayward souls. Kind of!
Jo Pepperdine settles into a special little town called Divine, Kansas, which is known to be the centermost point of the United States *note below. Now why is that important you ask? Because of its uniqueness it gets a lot of tourists that want to see it, as is usual for anything different, point of interest, or bizarre!!
Now Jo didn’t much care about that except that it would be a draw to her bakery and mercantile that she wants to put in and fulfill her desire to open a halfway house for the inmates released from the nearby prison. But, will the town let her do it? Its hard to break into a small town. Can she?
What a wonderful cozy book to read in front of a fire on a cold windy day at home *smile*. Can’t wait for the next one.
This is a clean Christian Cozy it has heart-warming down pat, but if you’re looking for romance and such, forget it

- I did not like that they
Spoke of God , but yet they gave the woman the finger back . Which is not Christlike at all . If you're going to talk about God and is going to be the center and you believe that he is your redeemer then don't set bad examples . The storyline is good people are good but if it's gonna be for Christians and it has to be for Christians they have to set good examples . There maybe a chance that someone who isn't a Christian I maybe thinking about giving the life to Christ would read this book and think oh it's okay to give somebody the finger and it's not - When I read the prologue before the book came out, I thought "What a bummer!" Fortunately, I purchased the book anyway because I've read all of Hope Callahan's other books and enjoyed them. I read the book in just a couple of hours and loved it. I'll be interested to learn more of Jo's backstory - how she came into a fortune and why she feels guilty about it. I'll also be interested to see what happens with Raylene. I liked the characters of Delta, Nash, and Gary also and can't wait to see if any romances develop. Looking forward to the next book!
- This book was too short, but I loved it! Hope's books are all fantastic cozy reads with suspense and humor where I can read a little bit thru out the day, lunch hour / coffee breaks, they definitely brighten up work days, very memorable books with very loving characters.
"Divine Intervention" was different for me as I read it in one sitting and I loved all the interaction, the compassion and the second chances given with LOVE!!! Looking forward to more books in this series. Thank you Hope for this beautiful story 😇 - Devine Intervention Hope Callaghan

Trust me this one is no different. The 2nd chances given to the different ladies, the almost fatal attack, the Wonderful Housekeeper and all the weird shenanigans going on truly keep you in suspense. Not sure how Hope does it. But please Hope keep on going. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. It’s definitely a Nail biter for sure. Thank you Hope Callaghan for your Wonderful Writing Talents. I’ve enjoyed each and everyone of them.
Sincerely Daphne Parris - I am relatively new to Hope Callaghn's books, having only read a few. When I saw this one was the beginning of a new series I jumped to buy it to get in on the very beginning of it. I am so glad I did! It is a delightful story of new beginnings for those who want one. I absolutely fell in love with the main characters and their personalities shine through through the author's writing. I am looking forward to the rest of this series and to reading more of Hope's stories. If you are looking for a feel good book then Divine Intervention is perfect for you!
- I always like Hope's books and this was no exception. I do, however agree with (and was disappointed by ) the middle finger incident. If you're going to be a Christian then act like one - and that isn't how a Christian should behave. That being said, I like the story line and can't wait to see what happens next!
- As others have already said I eagerly anticipate every book Hope writes, but this NEW series is something special!
I love all the characters already. I suspect that there will soon be love in the air in Divine Kansas for the two main women and gentlemen. Judging by Millie & the Captain, Hope knows how to create loving Christian marriages for her characters!
Once again, Mrs Callaghan, well done!
