Although â€œChristian fictionâ€ is not something I have read often I found The Pages of Her Life by James Rubart to be a fascinating read which takes a brother and sister on a journey of self-discovery. As a person that has journaled at different points in my life it was strange to think about some of the words written in my journal being changed. The book is engaging and for me was difficult to put down.
I believe this is my fifth novel i have read by this author. He never disappoints. This is a remarkable story where he brilliantly captures a woman's struggle with family, career, decision and friendship. How he manages to get into the mind of this protagonist is the sign of a great writer. The story moves along quickly and has a wonderful denouement. Another satisfactory Rubart read!
The Pages of Her Life by James Rubart is such a page-turner that you won't realize how long you've been reading. Engaging and filled with characters that I want to sit down and have a cup of tea and conversation with. This author never fails to tell a fascinating story, and this one has rocketed to the top of his books for me. Each journal entry teaches Allison something new about herself. Do yourself a favor and get a copy of this book. It really makes you think about how you view yourself and the world around you. Love it.
